It's listed as the 'final chapter' because it's the last chapter that was published during the manga's weekly serialization in Shonen Jump. However, there is still a bit more to come!! Along with a special chapter that was released in Akamaru Jump a year after the manga's official end, we also have a character popularity poll and some little 'after story' extras that were included in the final volume!! LOOK FORWARD TO IT GUYS =D

Also, some people have been asking me what I plan on doing once the manga is finished. Well! I still have to finish the one-shot of Fukushima Teppei's I collected some time ago (sorry for the wait, some parts of the dialogue are tripping me up >.<), and I'm always keeping my eyes open for new works of his. Along with that, I've also managed to get my hands on the Japanese novel 'Uchouten Kazoku' which some of you may know of given that it earned an anime adaption that aired this summer. I love the anime to bits, so I'm really excited to start translating the novel!!! I would be happy to post chapters here if people are interested, but I'll probably hit up Baka-Tsuki and see if they'd like to add it to their archives- not sure about that since they only seem to do light novels, but we'll see.

When I have free time I might like to go back and do the first volume of SU myself, just to have the chapters on my computer/ give people a chance to read things with better grammar. I'll post those here are well. Finally, if anyone happens to have something they'd like to see translated, please feel free to send it my way and I'll see what I can do!

Update

Hey all! I just wanted to give you a little update and let you know that I've been a little busy with work lately, so that's why there hasn't been any new releases in a while! I'm so sorry for making everyone wait!!

I have started on chapter 57 of Samurai Usagi (after which I'll have to finish scanning the rest vol 7) as well as Teppei's one-shot that I recently got my hands on, but you'll have to wait a little bit longer for both of these! I'm at a critical point with my animation projects, so I really have no time to spare! (I am not doing another all-nighter if I can help it TT.TT!!!)

And so, that's about it! Thanks to everyone for being so patient =D

Sorry for the late release, everyone!! I've taken on a second animation project for the company I work with, so I might be a bit busier for the next little while! They're printed in greyscale for the volumes I own, but I managed to find decent scans of the colored versions online!

I'm very sorry for the slow release >.< truth be told, this chapter has a rather intricate double-page spread which took me a helluva long time to redraw, I really hated it DX it was definitly the toughest out of all eight volumes though, so at least that's over with.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!

To celebrate, here's that one-shot I was talking about! Oh, what's that? Covering a forty-page story in three days? Wow, that is fast work!! It's a cute middle-school love story, so I thought it would be just perfect if I could have it ready for today ^^ that copy of Jump SQ sure came just in time haha

This story has an interesting narration style and cutely awkward romantic developments- if you liked Anne-chan Tarou and Samurai Usagi then I'm sure you'll enjoy this as well =D

Also, I have some (possibly) exciting news for everyone! I've been doing a lot of scrounging around the internet, and after paying a sum of Canadian dollars that I was only somewhat OK with I've managed to get my hands on the 2012 September issue of Jump SQ!! Why is this (possibly) exciting, you ask? The answer is this: included in this issue of JSQ is the newest one-shot by Fukushima Teppei himself!!! I've only glanced at it so far, but from what I can tell it's a cute and funny story in a vein similar to his other one-shot, 'Anne-chan, Taro'. Sooo you guys can look forward to seeing this one-shot released by me sometime in the near future!!

P.S. If anyone knows where to find online scans/ a purchasable copy of Shonen Jump's 10th 2011 issue, there's another one-shot by Teppei titled 'Monday, Wednesday, and Friday is Swimming' which I would also be thrilled to cover.
